Named for its alternating lines of creamy golden yellow and dark brown almost black at times, Zebrawood is another dense tropical hardwood from Africa. Almost all solid Zebrawood lumber is sawn to reveal the radial face, which is how the alternating bands of light and dark become visible, but most Zebra logs wind up as veneer for high end paneling. The wood develops a very nice golden patina over time.
