Imbuya is a rare and amazing tropical hardwood that is very difficult to find with any consistant grain patterns. It can exhibit almost any kind of grain found on other hardwood, as well as a few of its very own, but always has a murky yet radiant greenish brown glow to it. Imbuya emits a spicy, earthy scent when sawn, most of which is lost in the drying process. It is a bit elusive and quite mysterious wood.
